The Advisor scans your computer, and then asks what you expect to get out of Vista. Choices include "watch and record TV," "work anywhere," and "simplify my business." The Advisor will suggest which of the (approximately) 189 versions of Vista is best for you based on your selections, and then determines if your current hardware and software setup is compatible.
